For over the past 10 years ‘Ohana OT’s owner and founder, Mary Kostka, has been enjoying her passion for Isshinryu Karate teaching a family class in Leavenworth. Classes are held in the Leavenworth ‘Ohana OT clinic every Thursday 6:15-7. Karate is an excellent source of sensory input to the muscles and joints as well as the tactile and vestibular system for touch and movement. Children and adults move along at their own pace. All are welcome to drop in to observe and/or try one class for free. Must be at least 6 yrs old, able to follow directions, class routine, and follow safety rules.
